Canton Fair Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. is a joint stock company with corporative capacity and was founded in 1988.
In 2001, according to the guideline of State-owned Enterprise Reform from the State Council, six of the subsidiaries of China Foreign Trade Center (Group) merged and became Canton Fair Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd.. These subsidiaries included Ruisheng Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Building Material Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., Guangdong Canton Fair Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Building Material Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., China Foreign Trade Center (Group) Neimeng Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., Canton Fair Hainan Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., and China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd..
